Dr. Kay Clarke Crowder, DVM

Dr. Clarke grew up in Camden, SC, where she developed a love for horses and dogs. She then attended Clemson University and graduated with honors, earning a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. Following this, she pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, graduating in 2010. Subsequently, she completed a year-long internship at Carolina Equine Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

In 2011, she relocated to Aiken to practice as an equine veterinarian. Over time, she transitioned to small animal medicine and in 2016, she found her way to Silver Bluff Animal Hospital. Alongside her professional pursuits, she cherishes family time with her husband Russell and their two children, Lane and Finn.

In her leisure time, she enjoys riding horses, painting, and spending time with her old dog, a mutt named Riley Francis.
