Stefanie attended Tom Rose School of Dog Training in St. Louis, Missouri, where she trained three dogs to the schools specifications in many different working environments. She returned to Aiken, SC to train protection dogs for about two years. She went to a puppy socialization class offered by Patti Ruzzo and became interested in pet dog training. Stefanie then started teaching puppy classes and basic obedience classes for Libby Strout and found it much more rewarding. She taught classes for about six years and really loved helping dogs and owners understand each other a little better. Throughout her years of training and study at Tom Rose, Stefanie feels she understands behavioral issues that some dogs may have and enjoys helping dogs as well as their owners resolve them. |

Shannon earned her degree as a Dog Obedience Instructor from Penn Foster College. She enjoys studying dog behavior and psychology. She has been training dogs in basic obedience and puppy socialization since 2002. Shannon enjoys training dogs, and she especially loves working with terrier breeds. She has a special interest in canine psychology and enjoys furthering her education at training conferences in the south east. Shannon especially enjoys teaching puppy kindergarten because it is so much fun! |
