Under Construction
Dr. Lisa Levy graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science, and then attended Iowa State University to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She spent 20 years practicing veterinary medicine in Chicago, seven years of which she owned her own practice. In 2002, her husband and she moved to Aiken to slow down to part-time work and get away from Chicago´s frosty winters. Dr. Lisa Levy now works for Silver Bluff as a part-time veterinarian, and her husband, Dr. Mike Wells, works part-time at North Augusta Animal Hospital and at Silver Bluff Animal Hospital (see Dr Mike Wells below). She holds a special interest in Behavior Medicine within the veterinary field. She is committed to helping resolve the tremendous pet overpopulation problem in Aiken County by working for the SPCA´s spay and neuter program. In her leisure time, she enjoys horseback riding, sewing, reading, and floral arranging. She and her husband have three dogs named FeeBee, Chase and Kylie and two rescue cats from the Aiken Airport named Tarmac and Cessna. They also have three horses named Mahli, Justice, and Cajun, and 2 goats named Gruff and Snippet.

Dr. Wells grew up in central Illinois, then studied at the University of Illinois where he earned his undergraduate degree and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He managed and then owned a multi-doctor practice in suburban Chicago for over 20 years. Leaving the stress of practice ownership and the cold winters behind, he and his wife, Dr. Lisa Levy (see her bio above), moved to Aiken in 2002 where they have a small farm with a collection of dogs, cats, horses, and a goat. His semi-retirement gives him time for golf, gardening, travel, horseback riding, and to volunteer at Cedar Creek Church and in the community.
